Asbestos surveys, removal and safety guidance.

Independent advice for homeowners, landlords, contractors and managing agents — from initial survey through to safe disposal and clearance certification.

Why this matters

Asbestos is still present in many Irish buildings constructed or refurbished before 2000. Disturbing it — during renovation, demolition, or even a routine repair — releases fibres that cause mesothelioma, lung cancer and asbestosis decades later.

Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Exposure to Asbestos) Regulations 2006 & 2010, building owners and employers have specific legal duties to identify, manage and (where necessary) remove asbestos-containing materials.
